A standard drink is defined as a serving of alcohol that contains approximately 14 grams of pure alcohol. This is equivalent to a shot of 40% vodka, a can of beer, or a small glass of wine. In Korea, the standard size of a bottle of soju is 360 milliliters so the following would how many standard drinks are in a bottle:
- 13% Soju 360ml- (most flavoured varieties) – ~3.4 standard drinks
- Eg. Jinro Plum Soju, Chum Churum Grapefruit Soju, Good Day Lychee Soju
- 17% Soju 360ml- (common original size/percentage) – ~4.3 standard drinks
- Eg. Chamisul Original, Chum Churum Original, Good Day Original
- 25% Soju 375ml- ~6.7 standard drinks
- Eg. Jinro 25, Hwayo 25
- 41% Soju 375ml- ~11 standard drinks
- Eg. Hwayo 41, Tokki
