Daesun Soju

Daesun Soju is a green bottle Soju produced by the Daesun Distilling Co., which was founded in 1930 and is one of the oldest producers of soju in Korea along with Jinro, Chum Churum and Good Day.

Notably, Daesun is sweetened with honey and thaumatin – an expensive natural sweetener which is derived from katemfe fruits. The production process uses charcoal purification and a patented “far ray infrared aging” process for optimal smoothness which is said to enhance the sojus connection between the water and the alcohol.

Daesun Soju won 2020 Monde Selection Gold and the Grand award at the 2018-2021 Korea wine and spirit competition.
